Last year's major accomplishment was integrating Relocatable OCaml into the main codebase during December 2025, culminating David Allsopp's multi-year initiative while our team provided support and development space. Collectively, these changes enable self-contained OCaml distributions without absolute path dependencies. While this may appear mundane, it represents a crucial capability for contemporary packaging workflows. Relocatable compilers enable downloadable binary distributions supporting rapid opam environment duplication, layered Docker images, and cross-compilation scenarios requiring specialized toolchain placement.
